"Setup file 'gameinfo.txt' doesn't exist in subdirectory 'hl2'. Check your -game parameter or VCONFIG setting." Gah, I'm less savvy than I thought; does anybody know how to fix this?
EDIT: Okay, I've figured out how to get the correct startup. However, it appears in a smaller window, maybe a quarter of the bottom right of the screen at most, and it plays fine (albeit small-ly) until the screen after the VaLVe logo that says "Source". There, it freezes.
Any tips on how to get this started correctly? I'm almost there, so close!!
