| then i'm sure it's problem wid ur pc itself.
i strongly advice u to test it on other pc's.
Still i thnk itz coz of some firewall or AV blocking it........have u tried disabling UAC,firewall, AV's on vista altogether and install again.?

| AV means antivirus, to disable find ur av icon in system tray (next to where time is), right click & click exit. To know how to disable UAC read this
