| hi i downloaded sims 2 all the parts extracted into a new folder like so there was a folder called crack i went into it there was sims 2 icon clicked on it and it goes insert cd rom so how do i get past it where is the crack program hiding how i work it

| Thanks "guppy" for using our forum. After u download all parts & extract them make sure that you had got ".exe" file of that game. (That happens automatically when u install a game). Now, go to crack folder , copy that game icon and paste it where you had installed ur game; it'll ask u if you want to replace the earlier file,click yes. RE-RUN the game (from .exe file, where you had installed the game) & it'll work fine!

oh im still stuck after downloading all 11 parts in one folder i made a new folder in the folder with the 11 parts and extracted part 1 to the folder made in the folder with the 11 parts after finishing u go into the folder and there is only a folder called crack with sims2 icon and some weirdfiles and outside the crack folder is more weird files how i get it to paly how i get past the insert cd rom bit im such a n00b plz help

| extract all the parts (part 1 will extract everything using winrar)in a separately new folder ; i'll have many files (yes! weird). To be frank , plz attach here a screen shot of "all weird files" & I'll tell u how to install the game. Note there will be many files all at one place..itz not only "crack"!

| okay, i think i got ur problem! NOTE THERE IS AN "ISO" FILE IN THAT FOLDER (2.79 GB one!)....thz the image of the game. you will need program named daemon tools, if u don't have download frm http://disk-tools.com/download/daemon+sptd+md install it. Mount that image (2.79 gb) using daemon tools {if u don't know how to mount this ask me) The game will auto play install game. replace crack as i told u earlier. play!

| cool...u've almost made it!!..pat urself on the back!  Now, go to crack folder u had earlier. copy that sims2 icon. paste in this folder (the one above ur showing screen shot of..) It'll ask u to replace it. click yes play. BTWwhen ur game works plz reply here & leme know.

| i copy the crack icon in to that and it dosent ask me to replace so tehre are 2 sims icon i click on the crack one it asks to insert disc

| so game still hadn't worked huh?? BTW what happens when u click on other sims2 icon?
anyways....
no probs, goto the folder "Ts data" & "ts bin" there & look for "sims2" icon like one u have it in crack folder. u'll def. find one; in one of them ...when u do then replace sims 2 in crack wid it. Scan all sub-folders under the above mentioned folders.

| urrggg okay i found Tsbin and copy the crack sims 2 icon and put it in it says replace i say yes and then i double click on it and it says insert cd rom urrrg help me Added (2008-12-24, 8:22 Pm)

yeah when u click on the other sims 2 icon it is just the picture for the icon and waht do u mean by scan all sub folders under the above mentioned folders ?
