Problem with DOWNLOAD DIRECT

| I have a problem with download direct. Whenever I download a file through this program I can't open or run the file, I always get an error message that the archive is invalid or corrupt-like this "! C:\Program Files\Download Direct\downloads\AV.v8.0.59.000 nd.rar: The archive is either in unknown format or damaged". I don't know where the problem is. i always get that error if the file is downloaded through download direct and a good running file with no error if downloaded otherwise. please help...thanks a lot for your time...

| Regarding Download direct , i personally advice u to prefer downloading at lower speed (never at 16 x , although 8x or 4x preferred)
and don't download files like thatz > 70MB.

| Thanks Jim & Admin for great advice. I also thought about re downloading or not pausing etc. but the problem is still there. I agree with Dreamsaliva (Jim) that this might be concerned with high speeds (16x, 8x etc.), But what a misery, I have tried slower speeds and the problem is still there. I THINK the problem lies where the program splits a downloading file into equal parts and downloads them. I think the problem is with splitting and when the whole file is downloaded the file remains split and I get a "corrupt archive" message. Nevertheless I don't use the program (download direct) now... Thanks admin & Dreamsaliva for your concerns...[/color][/size]
